YMCA Cobram

YMCA is a world wide not for profit orgnisiation. It is based on the ideals of ' healthy mind, body, and spirit' and aims to promote honesty, respect, and responsibility in communities. In Australia the YMCA is focused on several main areas. These include; - Health and wellbeing - Sport and recreation - Aquatics - Youth services - Children services - Camping and outdoor education - Accommodation At the Cobram YMCA we are committed to health and well being and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Our gym runs circuit style training with full support from qualified personal trainers. When people sign up they are taken through a personalised assessment which is used to design a program that will meet their needs and goals. Their progress is reviewed and reassessed each month to maintain optimal results. Its is a friendly, comfortable and safe environment for people to workout in with personalised attention from the instructor. As well as the circuit training, we also have treadmills and digital exercise bikes for individual use. Stretching and flexability classes (yoga style) are also held at the center every week. As we are a new service in Cobram we are still developing our client base and setup. As we gain more members we will start to offer new and varied classes. We encourage people to come and try us out. First workout is free. Then the possibilites are endless. Hope to see you soon.
