Bundaberg is well known for offering work to Backpackers 11 months of the year. Crops are tomatoes, sweet potatoes, zucchinis, capsicums, rockmelons and eggplants, but many others through the seasons. The hostel owners have well developed work contacts, and arrange work with leading employers in the area. They also provide FREE transport to/from your job. After a hard day's work, there is everything you need: six kitchens with all utensils supplied, a BBQ, several entertainment areas, TVs, in house videos, hot showers, 24 hour internet cafe, internet hotspot & a cool pool to relax in. There is dorm style accommodation and self contained units. For those looking to stay a second year in Australia they can help with visa extensions. They can supply complete work records and can show you how to fill in the forms. The hostel is an easy 5-10 minute walk to the central business district and only 200 metres to the big supermarkets.
