Sensen Networks Pty Ltd

SenSen Networks Pty Ltd was started in 2005 within the confines of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) by our CEO Dr Subhash Challa and Executive Chairman Satish K Gupta, a graduate of MIT and Stanford. Subhash Challa is a world-leading exert in video and image processing, tracking and data fusion and Mr Gupta is a seasoned Silicon Valley entrepreneur. While at UTS, SenSen's initial focus was on R&D to overcome some of the toughest challenges of extracting reliable intelligence from Video and simply the deployment of such systems. With seed funds from Saphet Capital and the founders the company in early 2007 spun out of UTS to transition the research breakthroughs into commercial products and solutions. SenSen was relocated to its current headquarters in Melbourne in June 2007. From early 2008 to the middle of 2010, we focused on several alpha and beta field trials with customers such as the RTA, Manly City Council in New South Wales, Green Park Hotel in India and Victorian Police with funding from the National Motor Vehicle Theft Reduction Council. Riding on the back of these successful trials, SenSen intensified its sales activities from mid 2010 with an initial focus on Australia, India and Singapore. A Middle east sales team has been added in May 2011. Since the beginning of 2011, we have been adding several high profile customers to our portfolio including the RTA in New South Wales, Ipswich City Council, Manly city councils, Larson & Tarbo, the Serene County gated community in India and the Taj and Green Park hotels in Hyderabad, India.
