Salin Plus

Salin and Salin Plus are innovative, award winning medical devices, designed for home or office use, that saturate the ambient air with a dry salt aerosol, by forcing air through a special micro-crystalline filter. When inhaled, the salt particles travel deep through the upper and lower respiratory tract. These microscopic particles have the effect of increasing the viscosity of the mucous and thus expelling it from the respiratory system, whilst also reducing inflammation. This has the effective of removing the harmful bacteria that leads to infection and increasing the airflow, thus improving breathing. The device has no side effects and is suitable for everyone. Clinical studies have shown the product to be effective as a complementary therapy for patients with asthma, bronchiectasis, bronchitis, laryngitis, COPD, snoring, nasal congestion, hay fever, sinusitis, respiratory allergies, ear infections, cystic fibrosis, cough and other respiratory conditions. The special filter also works to collect and retain airborne pollutants such as dust, smoke, and odours, and thus improve the quality of the air you breadth. Developed over ten years ago in Europe, with monthly sales volumes of over 10,000 units, the product has a long and proven track record. The products were approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration in late 2011 as Class 1 Medical Devices. The devices are available in two sizes : Salin- supports a room size up to 40 cubic meters, ideal for small rooms or to take with you when traveling.
