Fishing Adventures is situated in Marion Bay, South Australia, which is located at the bottom of the Yorke Peninsula - the gateway to the famous Innes National Park. Owners Herbie & Kirsty have created packages to suit your needs for Deep Sea Charters for 7 to 36 people; with all bait and fishing equipment supplied. They can also arrange your meals, accommodation and your catch to be filleted. The APACHE, NORTH CAPE and POT LUCK are the 3 vessels taken on our fishing adventures. The APACHE is a 11.5 metre Seaquest fully customised for deep sea fishing with flybridge, enclosed cabin large galley, BBQ, shower and toilet for your comfort. It is surveyed for up to 12 people, fishing to 30 nautical miles and 25 for inshore eco tours. The APACHE with twin Volvo 310hp motors has a cruising speed of 20 + knots and a top speed of 40 knots, so you can spend more time fishing and less time traveling. It has all new upholstery and clears for your comforts plus all new electronics fitted for better fishing. The NORTH CAPE is a 10.1 meter Gavin Mair boat with the latest electronics, toilet & bbq on board and is surveyed for 12 people. It is surveyed for 30 nm with a brand new 350hp Volvo Penta Turbo/Supercharged engine with a cruise speed of 22 knts and a top speed of 32 knts. Both boats were designed by Gavin Mair so you know they are built with strength and perfection. The POT LUCK is a 60 ft Conquest fibreglass boat, with 1000hp and 5.85 metres of beam and 4500 litres of fuel, 2000kg a day salt water ice machine, a 50 Kva genset, TV and BBQ. It is the perfect deep sea fishing boat and can take groups of 23 people to 30nm, 12 people to 100nm and 7 people overnight to 200nm for those deep sea monsters including Blue Eye Trevalla, Deep Sea Bass, Hapuka, big Tuna on the shelf and now targeting Broadbill. Our destinations include Wedge Island, Neptune Island, Kangaroo Island and some of the best fishing places around the Yorkes area. We target a large variety of fish including Nannigai, Whiting, Snapper, Morwong, Harlequin, Trevally and Mulloway.
