North Curl Curl Physio

WELCOME TO THE NORTH CURL CURL PHYSIOTHERAPY & SPORTS INJURY FACEBOOK PAGE North Curl Curl Sports Physiotherapy specialises in the treatment of sports injuries, enhancing sporting performance as well as treating general physical movement-related conditions. We assess and treat a variety of recreational and elite level athletes as well as other non sport related injuries. The physiotherapists working here have looked after or are currently involved in providing sports physiotherapy services for a wide range of levels from domestic, local and school sports, professional Australia sports and through to Olympic teams. Our main focus is to accurately diagnose your injury and implement evidence based treatment to ensure you are back to your optimum as fast as possible. We not only focus on your immediate problem but formulate effective rehabilitation programs to enable you to maintain your well being into the future. We also spend a significant portion of time working to enhance sporting performance. We employ a very “hands on” approach to treatment to deliver effective results without the use of passive machines. We also incorporate the latest technology available to assist with the accurate diagnosis and treatment of your sports related problems, including force plates, strength dynamometers, real time ultrasound, video analysis, radar guns, 3D motion capture (RETUL), electromyography (EMG) and wireless accelerometers (ViMove). We have a particular interest in running related injuries and have an advanced force plate system incorporated into a treadmill which allows specific analysis of injury related data as well as key indicators to help enhance sporting performance. We also utilise portable accelerometers to accurately measure joint positions along with wireless EMG devices which measure muscle activation. With all this data available and experienced physiotherapists to interpret it, North Curl Curl Physiotherapy can provide cutting edge services to help you perform at your best.
