Gimmie Pop Wakeboard School is owned and operated by one of the world’s best cable wakeboarders, Daniel Pyne. Gimmie Pop began out of Daniel’s passion for the sport and desire to share his knowledge and experience with other riders. Gimmie Pop provides wakeboard coaching for beginners, intermediate, and advanced, in a friendly, relaxed, and professional environment. Daniel Pyne – Head Coach Daniel Pyne has a long list of wakeboarding achievements, including Australian Cable Champion, Third in the Cable World’s in Hungary, Wake Challenge Champion, and King of Kicker Champion. He has competed and performed in the Gravity Games and the Australian Boat Pro Tour circuit, and taken pro riders, such as Shane Bonifay and Shaun Watson, wakeboarding in Australia. After competing on the world wakeboard circuit for many years, Daniel now shares his knowledge and experience with other riders, helping them to reach their full potential. He has been involved in running exclusive training camps in amazing places such as Germany and Austria, as well as Australia, on both cable and boat for many years now. A back injury, followed by two years of rehabilitation, provided Daniel with extra motivation for Gimmie Pop Wakeboard School to become a reality. Daniel realised he wanted to teach others to wakeboard, but more importantly, for riders to learn how to prevent injuries, during his rehabilitation of an L5/S1 anterior spine fusion. As the head coach of Gimmie Pop, Daniel makes each rider’s experience new and fresh, and dedicates time to each rider to improve their wakeboarding skills. His professional wakeboarding days might be over, but his passion for the sport remains.
