Five Tastes Australia

The secret to great-tasting Asian cuisine is its harmonious balance of the five essential tastes: sweet, sour, bitter, salty and savoury (also known as umami). Achieving that balance has traditionally required precision, generations of knowledge, extensive preparation and exotic hard to find ingredients. Until now. Five Tastes is an exciting new range of authentic, cook-at-home Asian Meal Kits, Pastes and Cooking Sauces which are clean, fresh and bursting with flavour. Created from traditional, authentic recipes and the freshest, most authentic ingredients, each product in the Five Tastes range harmoniously blends the five essential tastes of Asian food to achieve a deliciously balanced meal every time. If you’re fairly new to cooking Asian cuisine, the Five Tastes Meal Kits are for you. They contain the key components you need for a delicious meal – all you need to add is your choice of meat and fresh seasonal vegetables. Our Five Tastes Cooking Sauces are perfect for simple but flavoursome weeknight meals, while the Five Tastes pastes will suit the more adventurous cooks – the only limit being your imagination on ways to use them! Whichever you choose, you can be sure of achieving the perfect harmony of the five tastes. For our initial range, we’ve chosen the dishes travellers to Thailand and Malaysia tell us they love: Green Curry, Red Curry, Pad Thai and Laksa. But keep your eye out for new Five Tastes dishes from other regions of Asia coming soon.
