Diesel magazine

Diesel magazine is a bi-monthly publication that caters to the Australian road transport sector with a balanced blend of sharp news stories and bold feature articles designed to showcase the diverse character of the Australian trucking industry. When the magazine was launched in 2001 with experienced truck writer Steve Brooks as editor, many sceptics said it wouldn’t last in an already crowded marketplace; but time and toil soon proved them wrong as Diesel quickly rose to prominence amongst its peers. In 2004 the role of assistant editor was created, with Paul Matthei filling the position, and four years later Paul was elevated to the role of editor while Steve Brooks was promoted to the position of managing editor, an arrangement that continues to this day. Then in late 2011 it was decided to take things to the next level with the introduction of Dieselnews.com.au, a website dedicated to keeping trucking industry professionals abreast of the latest relevant news as it breaks, in addition to providing an electronic interface for the viewing of Diesel magazine content. Dieselnews.com.au also produces a free weekly e-newsletter, dedicated to ensuring readers are updated with the latest news and product information.
