Barbelles

Two great locations - Murarrie and Hendra Barbelles is the original and the only strength training centre for women. The training performed here is free weights or also known as weight-bearing exercise. There are no machines. We re-teach you how to squat correctly and you learn to press and pull in a horizontal and vertical fashion. You are taught on “how to bring an awareness” to your body to form a straighter posture and switching on the “core” to move that barbell up and down in its own plane of movement. And lastly, we create less wobble and more tone to make you look and feel great! The women, who come here, come for a variety of reasons - as every woman is different. • Some of the ladies have osteoporosis or osteopenia. They are here to build bone. • Many women have core or postural (sore backs, sore knees, bursitis) issues. We correct their movement to give them more mobility and flexibility. • Others have balance or gait type of issues - ladies with MS or other neural to muscle connection issues. • And many just want to get toned, look good, feel great and wobble less in a fun and safe environment! This is an exclusive club for women and we focus on your specific problem.
