My yoga journey began 10 year ago whilst I was living in Kangaroo Valley where I attended regular classes with Senior Iyengar teacher Susan Robertson and then when Susan retired from teaching I went on to study and expore Iyengar further with Sally Simpson and Juliette Ridge in a purpose built studio in Bundewallah rd Berry. Attending worskshops from time to time with Johnny Batchelor. 6 years later I met Anna Smallwood in Berry and my love affair with Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga began. I attended classes diligently for 2-3 times per week including Mysore and my own self practise. January 2013 I was ready to share my knowledge with others as well as dive deeper into the oceans of my own practice so commenced both assisting and adjusting with Anna Smallwood as well as commencing formal teacher training studies with Amanda Fuzes of Prana Space. I regularly attend workshops and have attended worshops with guest teachers such as Clive Sheridan, Glenn Sceresoli, Mark Robberds and Deb Manoy. I have attended 2 retreats in India attending both classes and workshops at Brahmani in Anjuna Goa. I also have attended classes from time to time at Younga Yoga Studio with my most recent workshop being with Rachel Zinman at the Berry Shala. I have a daily yoga self practice which varies on a day to day basis depending on what I feel my bodys requirements are for each day.
